The Bristol Cafe is an extension of the Borealis Coffee Co. chain of cafes and roasterys in Rhode Island. This project serves as another rehabilitation of each piece that builds up the Unity Park Complex in Bristol, Rhode Island.

A former machine shop with several additions added between 1903 and 1920, the interior fit-out kept the shell and structure preserved in place, melding the industrial style with a warm and calm atmosphere synonymous with a coffee shop. The new public meeting room is enclosed by a re-purposed wood door from early 1884 and arched windows with wood upper window sashes salvaged from the exterior.
