A Bit About Me

Mr. Castle has 28 years of architectural experience, 4 years self-employed, 7 years for Stantec (formally Sear-Brown), and 17 years for JHL Tecture A.E., P.C.  He has been responsible for the administration, design, and implementation of a variety of project types from schematic design through the construction documents and construction phase.  His typical project involvement includes programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, as well as construction administration.  As a Project Manager, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the design and construction process including developing and reviewing building plans to ensure they meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards. As an Architectural Designer, he is responsible for the coordination within the project team including members of the client’s team, contractors, vendors, and in-house engineering staff.  He is an experienced AutoCad and MicroStation drafter/modeler utilizing two and three-dimensional, as well as visualization, techniques for construction documents, building component coordination, and preparation of design presentations to clients.  As a Cad Coordinator, he is responsible for inter-discipline coordination, cad standards, file management, database management, Information Technology, and project deliverable timing. As an Office Manager, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm,
